Tomari Technology

Instrument Servicing

Maarten van Eerten (Tomari Technology) is available for servicing a wide range of technologies, though primarily in the field of scientific instrumentation.

Areas of speciality are spectrophotometers, mass spectrometers, DNA sequencers, and scintillation counters. Maarten has had factory training at Illumina on DNA Sequencers, at Jasco on their spectrometers, at Sequenom (now Agena) on their mass spectrometer, and at Wallac (now part of Perkin Elmer) on various radioactivity counters. He has also had training by visiting engineers from Bruker Optics, NIRSystems, and P K Morgan.

Maarten's experience as a service engineer with ZenTech, SciTech, Biolab, and Tomari Technology over the past 30 years (see About Us) has led to wealth of experience in a very wide range of instruments in both research laboratories and industrial environments, from the very basic to the very complex.

Tomari Technology currently services scientific equipment on behalf of Illumina, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Jasco, and Decode Science on a contract basis, plus directly with customers as required.

General repairs on computers are also carried out, plus setting up PC's, networks, etc.

And, from what started as a hobby, Tomari Technology repairs old valve radios, provided the scarce parts can be obtained.
